Horse Riding Lessons

Meraki Equestrian Centre takes pride in being a premier safe learning environment for riders of all skill levels. We offer a wide range of lessons tailored to cater to everyone, from children as young as 5 years old to adults. Our diverse lesson portfolio ensures there’s an ideal fit for every rider’s needs.
Boasting an indoor arena and stables, Meraki Equestrian Centre provides the luxury of year-round horse riding lessons, unaffected by the weather. Our riders, instructors, and horses benefit from a facility designed for protection against the elements, ensuring a cooler, more comfortable experience. The centre’s purpose-built features include a soft treadlite surface that is optimally balanced to prevent it from being too deep or dusty, alongside safe arena kick walls and expansive equine mirrors that span the entire short side for enhanced training feedback.
For those with more riding experience, we also have a Cross Country course and offer the delightful opportunity to cool down their horses with a peaceful trail ride across our picturesque property, making every session as rewarding as it is enriching.
Rules for Horse Riding

- Helmets must be worn at all times*
- Flat soled boots, with heel to be worn for riding (no runners / joggers)*
- LONG sleeve shirts and pants must be worn (NO SINGLETS)
- Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your lesson to ensure you are ready on time
- Please refer to our cancellation policy if you are unable to attend your booking.
- For the well being of our horses, we have a 95kg weight limit for riders
- A minimum of 24 hour notice is required before booking. This to ensure we don’t over work our horses and have enough staff allocated
- All Group lessons are for experienced riders only. Riders must first complete individual lessons and assessments
*Helmets and boots are available in limited sizes from Meraki Equestrian Centre.
Private Riding Lessons
Suitable for all rider levels. Start with a 30 minute Assessment Lesson and then continue from there.
30 Minute: $66
45 Minute: $99
60 Minute: $132
90 Minute: $198
*Important Please Note: Only one 30 minute assessment lesson per day is allowed.
*Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your lesson time
Group Riding Lessons
Group Class is currently only on weekends with a maximum of 8 students per group.
Sunday: 10.30am – 11.30am
*All group classes are for confident riders. Before any of these classes can be booked for the first time, riding assessments must be completed.
Booking Process
Register for an Account
*PLEASE NOTE: No accounts are to be registered in a minors name.
As an adult, parent/guardian (18+), sign up for an account with our trusted booking system provider 'ECPro.co.uk'.
Verify your Email Address
Check your Inbox for your verification link to give you access to your account.
Add Riders
Create a rider profile for yourself first (if planning to ride) and then add each rider (under 18 only) that you will be making bookings for. Ensure date of birth, weight and height are entered correctly. This will help us assign your horse.
*Please Note: If you are adding a rider onto your account who is 18yrs and over, they must have an account in their own name.
Rider Grading
Please allow up to 4 hours to be able to book your first assessment lesson. All new registered riders must do an assessment lesson first before other bookings can be made. (School Holiday Program - Excempt)
